3.5 stars. After reading [b:A Girl's Guide to Vampires|50788|A Girl's Guide to Vampires (Dark Ones, #1)|Katie MacAlister|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51XbnlJW7eL._SL75_.jpg|3037534], I was a little upset that Christian found his Beloved but it ended up not being the right Beloved. I just didn't get it. If he's only allowed one per lifetime then Joy was it. Allie dreams of, rescues (sort of) and meets Christian and everything between them is conflict. But they fall in love anyway. Cute book, sometimes funny.
