I have no idea why the ghost is a part of this story. She's just an aside that opens and closes doors and smells like honeysuckle. In fact, I should have done a drinking game for everytime someone said, "I smell honeysuckle." I would have had quite a drunken party for one.
The love story was cute though. Beckett's had a crush on her since high school writing love songs that his brothers made fun of. Clare's a young widow with three really cute boys. The narrator MacLeod Andrews did a really great job I thought, especially with young children which I thought would be very hard. His women voices were all distinguishable, which another huge plus. The story gets 3 stars, but the narration bumps it up to 4 stars.
