3.5 stars - good but not great. It took about 2/3 of the book before I started feeling like it wasn't a chore to read it. Paige was a little ditzy for the leader of the American Witch Council (or whatever it's called). The bad guys kept tricking her to go out on these "emergency" errands and she kept falling for it over and over again. The bad guys even mention how she keeps falling for it. The romance part between Paige and Lucas I liked. Savannah was a good character. I've raised a teenage girl and have another coming up the ranks, so her mood swings and fits were true to life. As a continuation of the series, I would recommend the book.
