A Taste of Crimson (Crimson City, #2)
I enjoyed this audiobook a lot more than the first book, thank goodness, because I have the whole series on audiobook. I was hoping I wouldn't have buyer's remorse.
I liked the main characters and a new character Eric. I hope they get more into the mecs in the next book and perhaps about the underground situation.
Usually with a Books in Motion audiobook, the beginning is so stilted, "Let's begin." Like a kindergarten teacher. I literally say out loud "Ugh" whenever I hear it. Some of their narrators aren't very good either but the one who did this book was better than average.
3-1/2 stars.
