3.5 stars. The book is good but very sad, with misunderstandings galore. She says one thing, he hears another. And the life in the mines went on for so long. I think the author could have cut a few of the breakfast/dinner comings and goings. But overall, I enjoyed the book and plan on reading the next in the series.
Carolyn Cannot Live Without Books!
Hi, I'm Carolyn F and I've been an avid reader since elementary school when dinosaurs roamed the Earth (also known as the 1970's). My favorite genres change every five to ten years so who knows what it is now.
