I loved the Wallflower and the Hathaways series by this author, but of the two older books I've read by her I didn't enjoy them as much including this one. The spoiler problem for me is when he goes into his past life and marries Emelia and has sex and impregnates her, it felt like cheating. This seemed to be clarified too when he's back in his own time and he's wondering what happened to Emelia while with Emma at the same time he's saying Emma is Emelia from the past life so it's not cheating. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's cheating.
So I think I'll skip this series by Lisa. Thank goodness it was a library book!
