There are some strange powers that the heroine has but I'm not sure if I'd categorize this as a paranormal or magical book because of it, so I'm not adding this book to those bookshelves. The book itself is very good. Had me hooked right away and if it weren't the finale and part one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Monday, I would have finished it quicker.
I liked how when both the hero and heroine were emotionally damaged from their childhood parental experiences, they could turn to each other knowing that person understood. I'm planning on reading more of the series. Thanks for the recommendation Holli!
