Carolyn Cannot Live Without Books!

Audiobook. I also have the paperback.

I have listened to this author's Dark series and the Romanian accents were a little too much for me. So I came to the audiobooks thinking I'd not like them as much as the other series. I actually liked the audiobook a lot and although the narrator has a very deep manly voice, his softening for the female voice was perfect. For some reason I have read some of the other books in the series but never the first and now I understand why the heroine forgives her dad. I couldn't understand how she could forgive him for the awful things he did early in her life.

I'm planning on working my way through the series.
